Rolling out of the Redhill Farm B&B at just after 9am on a hearty full English breakfast the day started out slowly. The ride through south Gloucestershire was very picturesque requiring many picture stops. In addition to the shutter bug stops I was also accompanied by a headwind that at times made for heavy going. Despite the headwind I felt remarkably strong, the legs must be getting used to the daily rigors and recovering quickly.
The route today headed to Slimbridge, up the Sharpness - Gloucester Canal and then onto NCN 41 and 45 around the outskirts of Gloucester and onto Worcester. From there it was a short ride north to the overnight stop south of Stourport arriving just before 5.
